Model Train Bridge (Functional, Modular, & Scalable truss bridge)

This massive undertaking was conceived initially to replace large O-Scale Truss Bridges on a grand scale layout. In its current size, it will operate flawlessly on any O-scale or similar-sized layout. Plentiful examples of the bridge in use can also be found on my website: https://3dcdesign.com/media Currently comprised of 13 separate models, no support material is necessary to print any of the models technically; however, a small amount is suggested to support the slide insert on a few pieces. I devoted considerable time to ensure it functioned perfectly for how my father needed it for his layout. It can be scaled up or down and still maintain its full functionality. No adhesive or glue is required; all pieces slide and/or snap together seamlessly. Separate roof/coverings allow for complete or partial coverage of the bridge across its entire span. I designed this specifically to be extremely user-friendly, not only in printing but also in use. It's incredibly robust, even at just 25% or so infill. Pieces slide together smoothly, with some pieces having multiple versions to enable an endless array of combinations and additions. Currently on our personal layout, there are two 4-6ft bridges utilizing these exact models. Filenames correspond to their function/use; there are a couple of side/top pieces that allow for multiple looks and combinations. Jimmy Stars is made in remembrance of my brother and his favorite team, the Steelers, which is what the star pattern/name on that particular small model signifies.
