Model Titanic railing

Model Titanic railing

thingiverse

This is a custom-written G-code file for printing miniature railings for the Revell 100th anniversary Titanic set (scale 1:400). I was dissatisfied with the original design, finding it not realistic enough. You can easily read the code yourself in any text editor like Notepad; rest assured, there's nothing malicious within. The file consists of two parts - the posts on top and the custom code for horizontal strands. This translates into a total of two prints per product. To create this design: - Print the posts and leave them on the bed, removing only the introductory line and skirt. - Begin the second print directly above the first. Tip: Place a piece of paper at the Z end-stop before starting the second print to slightly raise it. This will ensure that the horizontal strands lay smoothly atop the posts. If you prefer to slice the posts yourself, be cautious of aligning them with the second file to achieve accurate results.
