I designed a miniature plane tire, measuring just 13 millimeters in diameter, specifically for my four-kilogram jet model equipped with retractable landing gear. To bring this small component to life, I printed the tire itself using black TPU material with a ten percent infill and one-millimeter wall thickness. The rim, which required two identical parts, was crafted from white PLA plastic. After printing these components, I assembled them together using contact adhesive, ensuring a strong bond between the pieces. To complete the assembly, I utilized three four-millimeter thick slices of PLA to serve as spacers, allowing me to join the two halves of the rim securely in place.
