Model rocket Rockets

thingiverse

This small rocket model is designed for an A10-3T engine, with a slightly tight initial fit that has been adjusted by adding 0.5mm to the diameter. The .stl file, Rocketparts.stl, includes a nose cone and fins suitable for C-rocket engines, requiring minimal tape adjustments. It was printed at 1% infill without additional skins, with a 0.5mm layer thickness, resulting in near-perfection. The engine hole allows for metal springs to secure the engine, ensuring a snug fit. Despite limited experience in model rocketry, this project serves as an introductory endeavor for university students. The rocket is not designed for mid-air separation, and its performance post-engine ignition remains uncertain. Attachments such as parachutes can be secured with a string tied to the engine's non-functional end after drilling a small hole. Users are welcome to suggest minor model improvements.
