They serve as an excellent alternative to straws for 1/8" rods. To ensure a smooth installation process, thoroughly prep the model beforehand. Wrap a body tube in sandpaper with the grit side facing outwards and sand the bottom surface of the Micro Rail guides to remove any residue and improve their fit. Additionally, sand the attachment area on the body tube, especially if it's coated with glassine, to enhance adhesion. For improved bonding, consider punching small holes in the body tube to create "glue rivets." Use a suitable adhesive, such as epoxy or PolyZap, for optimal results.
