To construct a jig for epoxying rocket fins and launch lug, design and print two plates and two adapters for the body tube and engine mount using the provided .SCAD file. Measure and modify parameters according to your rocket's specifications. Attach adapters to plates with M3 cap screws and nuts, and place paper towel between adapter and bottom plate to catch dripping epoxy. Align threaded rod with launch lug through slots on jig, and secure with nuts. Insert plywood strips into fin slots and slide fins into position, holding them with spring clamps. If necessary, adjust plywood strips to ensure fins are flush against the body tube. Apply epoxy between fins and body tube, as well as at desired location on launch lug, tighten nuts, and allow epoxy to dry. Finally, apply thickened epoxy fillets to base of fins and launch lug for added support.
