UPDATE (2/23/2019): The OpenSCAD file is now included to enable customization. UPDATE (4/10/2019): You can now edit and export the OpenSCAD file for laser cutting purposes. UPDATE (2/8/2019): BT-50 centering rings have been added to the collection, along with other sizes. These are 3D printable or laser cuttable centering rings designed specifically for model rocket engines. Attach them in the same manner as you would a cardboard/balsa centering ring. To get a custom size of ring that is not available here, use the Customizer app or download and edit the OpenSCAD file. You can then export the ring as an STL for 3D printing or an SVG for laser cutting. If you decide to laser cut a centering ring, make sure it's from 1mm thick paperboard stock. Using the OpenSCAD app is much more effective than the Customizer because the Customizer is often very slow and hard to manipulate. The following are the outer dimensions of body tubes - pulled from estesrockets.com - to help with customizing the centering rings: BT-5 - Inside dimension: 13.8mm Outside dimension: 13.8mm BT-20 - Inside dimension: 18.7mm Outside dimension: 18.7mm BT-50 - Inside dimension: 24.1mm Outside dimension: 24.8mm BT-55 - Inside dimension: 32.6mm Outside dimension: 34mm BT-60 - Inside dimension: 40.5mm Outside dimension: 42mm BT-80 - Inside dimension: 65.7mm Outside dimension: 66mm Most rings are 1mm thick, but if you need a thicker ring, simply non-uniformly scale the Z axis in your slicer or adjust the height variable in OpenSCAD.
