I have completed the fabrication of my designed RepRap 3D Printer and uploaded a photo. The X-carriage served as a reference, while other parts and the frame were designed based on it. Standard components like NEMA 17 Motors, NEMA 17 mounting brackets, Wade's Geared Extruders, J-head hot ends, mounting plates, pulleys, spools, etc. were downloaded from GrabCAD. Some 3D printed parts were obtained from Thingiverse (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:718271) and credited to EcTechTime (http://www.thingiverse.com/EcTechTime/about ) and other GrabCAD members for their assistance in making this project successful. The 3D Printer utilizes FDM technology, is Cartesian-type, equipped with Wade's Geared Extruder, J-head hot end, prints PLA material without a heat bed, and has a print volume of 147mm X 188mm X 223mm.
