Model Jet Engine static model including cutout
cults3d
This is a project that was not primarily intended for 3D-printing. I found a couple of old books containing drawings for working model jet engines, and could not resist drawing one of them in Fusion 360. It's a dream to one day build a working one. I recorded the entire design process and have uploaded it in 3 parts which you can see below. But I figures why not upload the parts here when I already have them? :) I enlarged the engine casing from the original 0,3mm to 0,4mm to simplify printing. I have not printed this myself yet. I also figured it could be interesting to have it as a cutout static model, so included in a zip file are parts with cutout. As I haven't printed this myself, I won't suggest any print settings. This is a print for those who are experienced enough to evaluate the parts themselves, or you are free to experiment, but I leave no guaranties that they print well. The NGV is included both in a complete unit, but also as separate pieces to simplify good printing result. You can choose if you want to print the complete one using supports, or the individual parts and glue them together.
