Model Car Stand
thingiverse
This is a basic decorative stand for showcasing your car models. The one shown is 1:24 scale. Print two of each part, making sure the uprights are printed upside down. This will print all at once on an area of 100mm x 100mm. The feet pieces are 3.75 inches / 95mm long, and the uprights are about the same length along their base. There is a notch to hold a placard like the one shown (http://www.thingiverse.com/thing:1531859) which is 1/16" or 1.6mm thick. The sloped portion that the car sits on is 3.5 inches long and slopes at an angle of 8 degrees from the horizontal. The Stand_assy.stl file is just for show, print it at your own risk! Print Settings Printer: PB Maker's kit 1405 Rafts: No Supports: No Resolution: It doesn't matter Infill: 10% Notes: This was more than enough for the car shown, using maybe 25% infill. Post-Printing After printing, depending on your printer's dimensional accuracy, you may need to open up the notches a bit to get the parts together, or you may need some glue to hold them together if they are too loose. If you're in the sweet spot, the parts will fit together perfectly.
