Model Car "Electric" GT Coupe
thingiverse
My First Designed for 3D Printing Project from Last Year. I Consider it a Reliable, Yet Stylish Creation. The Initial Concept Had Planned Windshields as Inlays, but Eventually I Decided to Fuse Them Directly into the Body, Leaving Sufficient Clearance for Easy Painting if Desired. The Wheel Clips May Come Off Easily, Especially with Young Children. This Looseness Could Be Remedied by Applying Adhesive or Revising the Fitment for a Tigher Seal. Feel Free to Experiment and Share Your Results, or I Can Provide Adjustments for a Snugger Connection. You can Find More Information on this Project Here: The Fusion 360 Gallery at https://fusion360.autodesk.com/projects/scale-electric-gt-concept-toy-3d-printable. Printing Guidelines: Print the Body with Infills Over 10 Percent to Ensure Stability. Add Supports from the Build Plate for Smooth Construction. Wheels and Tires Should Be Printed Independently, as They Do Not Require Supports. I Found it Most Effective to Print the Body and Wheel Clips in Matching Filaments and Use Black Tires for a Contrasting Look.
