Model boat single bollard (pulling bollard)

thingiverse

This is a model of a pulling bollard for a Tamar class lifeboat, although I am sure this model bollard can be used on other boats and ships as well. Model is about 20(l)x14(w)x16(h)mm big but can of course be scaled up or down according to wishes. Print Settings Printer: Reprapworld Beagle Standard Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: Yes Resolution: 0,1mm Infill: not important Notes: I printed it at 0,1mm layer height and with a little bit of support under the protruding part, came out nicely. Apart from removing the supports and painting I didn't do any post-processing on my parts. Post-Printing Paint to your liking, I painted mine silver to reflect the stainless steel look of the original. Also a little filing or sanding doesn't hurt (but I didn't do it). How I Designed This Created in SolidWorks as separate body in a multi-body part. Printed out all parts separately for better printing and post-processing.
