Model Boat Rudder system

Designing an effective system for a model boat's rudder can be a complex task due to its intricate nature. By attending the 2016 Sydney Wooden Festival of boats, I gained valuable insights from various research sources. Drawing inspiration from the large Couta Fishing vessel, I developed a design that replicates its functionality in a smaller scale. Through multiple iterations and revisions, I refined my design to meet several key requirements: it had to be strong enough to support the wooden rudder, capable of swiveling smoothly, and securely fixed to the wood. To achieve this, I employed a specialized bonding technique, utilizing superglue specifically designed for ABS plastics and woods.
