Model boat rudder system

Designing a system for a model boat's rudder can be quite challenging. Drawing from research conducted at Sydney's 2016 Wooden Festival of boats, I developed a design inspired by the large version of a Couta Fishing vessel. Through numerous revisions, I arrived at a design that not only supports a sturdy wooden rudder but also allows it to swivel freely and securely attach to the wood. To bond ABS plastic to wood, I employed superglue for a strong and lasting connection.
