This is an OpenSCAD file to generate model holders for tabletop gaming models that use round bases. The original idea was to be able to hold a large number of models securely while painting them (IE, spray painting primer), but it will also work for model storage, transport, stabilizing a particularly wobbly or top-heavy model on the tabletop, etc. BaseHolder v2 changes: * Now supports elliptical bases. * Some variable names have been changed. * Added a maximum length for the clip tab; it is now limited to the lesser of model_DiameterMinor/2, or 15 * blockBaseHeight.
With this file you will be able to print Model Base Holder with your 3D printer. Click on the button and save the file on your computer to work, edit or customize your design. You can also find more 3D designs for printers on Model Base Holder.
