Model 59B - Sling tailed Agama - Mesh only

This is a 3D mesh of a Sling-tailed Agama lizard (Stellagama stellio cypriaca) scanned live in Cyprus using the Beastcam MACRO. The lizard weighs exactly 78 grams. Jer Bot, a skilled CG artist, retopologized and reconstructed the creature using Blender, an open-source 3D animation software. He accomplished this feat by combining images from six Canon G16 cameras with other reference photos. This model is part of Dr. Savvas Zotos' post-doc research (POST-DOC/0916/0034) and receives funding from the European Regional Development Fund and the Republic of Cyprus through the Research and Innovation Foundation. The 3D model will be used to study and present species movement and behavioral patterns.
