MOD Trestle Joint Housing
thingiverse
I'm currently creating a series of joints, designed specifically for joining old or scrap materials together in a sustainable way. My goal is to craft a connector that enables the connection of disparate scrap pieces into innovative and functional home goods. To accomplish this objective, I am designing a device consisting of two primary components: an inner connector and an outer housing. The inner connector will have adjustable openings that can be sized according to various materials and shapes, ensuring a snug fit every time. Meanwhile, these versatile connectors can easily fit within the designed slots of the corresponding outer housings. Through careful design, I aim to develop a system allowing for a variety of interchangeable housings that may create multiple distinct pieces of furniture or household items, ultimately maximizing reuse of discarded materials while showcasing limitless possibilities for creation and reimagination.
