This is a mod of shawdreamer's design, carefully crafted to provide ample space for wiring and effortless access to the SD card, perfect for individuals with larger fingers who may struggle with intricate tasks. An additional port has been cleverly integrated into the usb connection, facilitating seamless computer connectivity. Every component, including the M2 stainless steel hardware, is precision-engineered for maximum durability. To ensure a secure fit, I employed an unconventional yet effective method: finger nail polish as a substitute for loctite. This mod also boasts a convenient reset button, eliminating the need to disconnect and reconnect the printer every time a reset is required. A reset button was added by drilling a hole in the housing over the ramps board's existing button. A #8 screw was then inserted from below through the guide, accompanied by a spring on top. The red button was screwed into place, followed by the secure gluing of the assembly into its designated hole. This mod works flawlessly. Post-Printing Assembly: The components were glued together using ABS pipe glue. Short pieces of wire were strategically inserted into the screw holes to facilitate proper alignment of the spacer. Minor filing and sanding were required to achieve a precise fit. Overall, this assembly process proved relatively straightforward. As I mentioned earlier, this mod is specifically designed for individuals with visual impairments and limited dexterity in their fingers, making it an ideal solution for those who face challenges with intricate tasks. Even I found it somewhat challenging to assemble everything within the given space.
