The main goal of this research project is to develop a user-friendly and versatile prototyping system for embedded devices that can be seamlessly integrated with multiple types of sensors and the entire range of Arduino microcontroller boards. Two STL files are provided for 3D printing the primary platform and modules. The primary platform has pre-drilled holes for mounting an Arduino Uno microcontroller, as well as slots on its sides to expose the USB port and barrel jack. This design allows for effortless code upload to the Arduino Uno's microcontroller without requiring the board to be removed or unscrewed. Up to three modules can be accommodated within the platform. These modules serve as containers for small ProtoBoards (1 x 1 inch) that are intended to hold sensors and wires, which have been soldered onto them. Despite having up to three modules attached to the platform, there is still ample space available for a compact mini breadboard. This breadboard provides additional room for resistors, LEDs, and ICs that are not included within the modules but can be used in a prototype. The 'Mod Duino' system is designed to make prototypes more portable by eliminating the need to worry about connections or wiring becoming disrupted during use.
