This is a key element of a university project centered around giving new life to discarded materials. I've crafted a series of modular connectors designed to seamlessly integrate old, worn-out components into fresh furniture and home decor pieces. The underlying concept revolves around the idea that scrap materials can be inserted effortlessly into a central connector featuring an adjustable hole diameter, enabling these fragments to slot neatly into housing units that share the same internal dimensions. These adaptable housings can then be mixed and matched interchangeably to give rise to a diverse array of objects. The scalability of both the connectors themselves and their corresponding housing units presents another opportunity for limitless creativity and innovation.
