Mock Scope Sight

Mock Scope Sight

Quick fake scope. Used DVD plastic for rear plastic, and dollar store sunglasses plastic for the front. Used a Quarter to trace out shape with magic marker on rear of sunglasses glass, in case some marker remains, its not on the mirror finish. Put the lenses in the little discs....I would paint the parts before attaching lenses, but you can attach first and then mask it with painters tape if you want....I would rather have the inside and outside black first. Also when using split layer DVD plastic, it does not like super glue at all....It sticks yes, but it always makes it cloudy and foggy so use a little bit unless you have another form of adhesive that works.....I will make better looking ones in the future, I just wanted to see how it looked and if my idea worked. It did apparently....Takes about an hour to print. No support needed. Cheers! ***Edit 9/6/2020- Mock Scope 2 file added which makes the 2 lens holders a little deeper and also added a template to trace the lenses out. I haven't made it yet but will start printing as soon as my bed is clear. Pics coming soon. Should not be any problems, as the dimensions haven't changed besides the Z on the lens holders. Also I separated the stl files so print the scope body, and the lens holders of your choice
