What I love about 3D printing is being able to solve really small problems that, nonetheless, annoy me. Here's one that will absolutely not save the world. Silly problem: I have a MockMill 100 grain mill. I've found that when I load grain into it, the motor won't start because the friction of the grains in the mechanism is too much to overcome from a dead stop. I could turn the machine on before loading the grains, of course. But the thing is horrendously loud, so I'd rather load the grains then turn it on. The struggle is real, as the kids say. Silly solution: This li'l plug sits in the feed chute to hold the grains back until you're ready for them to feed in. Pluck it out and the grinding begins.
