You know the peculiar button on your Moccamaster dripper that lets you choose closed, half-open and fully open settings? I never seemed to get the perfect drip amount, so I came up with a straightforward solution - a completely adjustable one. It works surprisingly well, in my opinion. Simply remove the original button by first taking out the spring, then sliding the adjuster into its place. You may need to do some minor filing or sanding, as tolerances are quite precise. Also, drill out the hole for the M4 bolt. I glued a nut in place using CA-glue. Be careful not to use too much glue, or the bolt won't fit. My bolt is an M4 that's 30 mm long - it's longer than needed but that's what I had at home. For you imperial users, just find something close to M4. Make sure everything is clean before using it so your coffee doesn't taste like CA-glue or metal. Edit: I added a simple thumb-screw for the M4 bolt head.
