mobula6 canopy
thingiverse
Canopy for Mobula 6 and Runcam nano 3. Removes jello effectively. Available in three different versions: * One with holes on the back for antenna mounting * One without the holes * One with the back completely removed Weight of the canopy with back is approximately 0.9g, making it lighter than the original canopy with camera mount. I printed mine in PLA since it's the only plastic my printer can handle. It seems to hold up well, and I haven't managed to break one yet. I haven't tried the version without the back myself, so I don't know how well it will remove jello or hold up in a crash. In the version with antenna holes, the antennas bend around the camera and go into the holes on the back. No issues with dropouts on FrSky D8, and clear video reception is maintained. The camera snaps into place with a little bit of force. The canopy is slightly smaller at the opening (14mm) than inside (14.5mm) to hold the camera in place without screws or anything. If you're unsure whether it will stay in place, a tiny dab of hot glue will do the trick. You may need an X-Acto knife to trim the edges of the canopy slightly for the camera to fit if you print with hard plastic. Printing with supports is also necessary. I believe this canopy will fit any board with the same size. If you print one and run into any problems, please leave a comment or send me a message, and I'll try to fix it. Enjoy!
