Mobula 7 - Training Rollcage
thingiverse
Learning to fly involves many slow speed crashes, typically lasting one second or more. To safeguard against these mishaps, pilots can use a protective frame that hooks into the bottom and top of the aircraft. This safety feature is created by printing the frame flat and bending up the roll cage using crazy glue. The effectiveness of this protection depends on the stiffness of the TPU material used. While it does add some weight and alter flight characteristics at high speeds, this design is not intended for high-speed flying.
