Mobula 7 Replacement Frame-No Support

V9 Mar 22, 2019 - numerous enhancements - much more robust in PLA. FC clicks seamlessly into grooves. May need to smooth the sharp edges (just the extreme tips) of the FC mounting holes for a perfect fit. Check out the arrows in FC image. Added a Roll Cage Feb 24, 2019 that fits V5 or later versions of the Frame. Frames print without supports but the Roll Cage does require support structures. It weighs approximately 1.5 grams (dependent on infill) and clips effortlessly into newer Frames. Enjoy! Modeled this from scratch with PETG Filament in mind, printing without support. There are some areas that demand bridging, but my Ender 3/Cura combo manages to do a decent job. The frame is designed specifically for the mobula 7, yet the model is fairly adaptable for modifications; send me comments and I'll add new versions to suit your printer or whoop hardware. Also included are some photos showing how the universal battery mount is intended to work. Approximately 4" length, 0.6" Velcro strap cut as shown. Note that I've taped two 1S batteries together then glued a small piece of velcro (trimmings from the custom strap) to the outside. Battery packs are very secure and generally don't fall out in a crash. Good luck and happy flying!
