Mobula 6 case with latches and battery compartment
thingiverse
Box with latches and battery compartment. Parts are printed separately to avoid the use of supports (except part Bottom_case), facilitate separation from the printing table, reduce material consumption, and improve appearance. The parts are arranged as they should be on the printing table. You will need two metal pins 2 mm in diameter and 23 mm long (a piece of a spoke from a bicycle wheel or something suitable). CA glue is used to connect the parts. Before gluing, attach the parts to each other, make sure that all sizes fit and that all parts are printed without errors. Be careful to use glue. Not to use too much glue, as it will run out of the seams and stain the outer surfaces. How to assemble: - Glue part TopCover to part TopCase. - Insert part Mid into part Bottom_case, align the top edge (semicircular stops should protrude to fit into the corresponding grooves in the top cover), and from the inside, drip a few drops of glue into the gap between them. - Insert the metal pins into the latches. Do not glue. It may be necessary to pre-drill a hole in the latch with a 2 mm drill bit. - Insert the latch pins into the corresponding slots in part Bottom_case. Do not glue. The latches should pivot around the pins. Attach the finished top of the box. Fasten the latches. - Glue the bottom cover. Do not allow glue to get on latches and pins. - Ready.
