The 11 Gear Mobius Strip's hardware benefits from ISO-standard fasteners for global affordability. This design offers two arm configurations based on whether you prefer tapping threads or purchasing nuts. Five distinct gear tooth offsets, ranging from 0.15mm (ideal for MakerBot) to 0.5mm (suitable for precise technologies), are available. To counteract curling, alternate the up direction when assembling gears. Expect a normal wear-in period. When assembling, you may require a vice to insert bearings due to the nominal diameter of the mounting location. McMaster.com part numbers for fasteners are included in the BOM, as it is the source of the original CAD models.
