Strong & light Pan & Tilt platform for Mobius/Run Cam, inspired by similar cheap online versions that deliver excellent results. This sturdy setup tilts from level through to 90 degrees forwards with precision and ease. The base fits perfectly within the Bix3 FPV canopy, ensuring a seamless integration. With a mere 50 grams of AUW weight, this platform is remarkably lightweight while still boasting impressive servos. Print Settings Printer: Fabrikator Mini, a reliable choice for producing high-quality prints. Rafts: No rafts were required, allowing for smooth and hassle-free printing. Supports: Yes, supports are necessary to ensure the base and middle section of the print adhere perfectly. Resolution: A high-resolution setting of 0.2 was used to achieve exceptional detail. Infill: The infill percentage was set at 30, providing an optimal balance between strength and weight. Notes: Supports were required on both the base and middle sections of the print. Cleaning out the upper pivot hole with a 5mm drillbit proved necessary for a smooth assembly process. How I Designed This I redesigned this platform to feature a socket turntable that enhances stability during panning, redirecting lateral forces away from the pan servo and eliminating any wobble. Special consideration was given to designing the pan section specifically for use with the Turnigy TGY-R5180MG 180 Degree MG Analog Servo. For tilt functions, I recommend using the Turnigy TGY-50090M Analog 9g Servo.
