Mobius Mini Mount

Update October 4th, 2017: Added Three New Variants of the Mobius Mini Mount for Different Quadcopters: QAV X4 RS, a 155mm X Frame VX210-V2 Beerotor X200 The new mounts enclose the Mini fully to prevent flyaways after a crash. They are designed to hold the camera upside down so you can install the brass heatsink/mounting plate for additional cooling. In the MSetup config tool, you can configure to flip the image and make videos appear normal and not recorded in reverse. Unlike the original mount, the newer ones are supposed to be printed in flexible TPU-like materials such as Ninjaflex. Old Text Below: This is a simple mounting pod for a Mobius Mini. It's designed to accept the camera upside down to give the DSP sufficient cooling. In MSetup, you can configure the camera to rotate the image 180 degrees. An angled version of this mount can be found here. The mount is designed in OpenSCAD with parameters that allow you to enable the SD card cutout and the USB cable cutout. If you don't need them, you can set them to false and generate your own STL file. It currently has no tilting angle but that's something I'll look into in the future. I print this thing in Ninjaflex at 90% infill. This gives a very strong result and some additional dampening against jello. Printing in PLA or ABS works too... The preview of the OpenSCAD file looks a bit wonky, not sure what that is, but it's the correct file. Print Settings Rafts: Doesn't Matter Supports: No Resolution: 0.15mm Infill: 90% Notes: Print in Ninjaflex or some other flexible plastic to have some additional dampening.
