Mobius gimbal (2 axis) for 22mm motors and H frame

Preface This gimbal is based on two other sources, from which unfortunately I could not access the original files. Both authors did not respond to my inquiries. The source codes were used here, where the holder, which turbii uploaded, presses against the "power" button of the Mobius. This design is very difficult to print because it has extremely thin walls. When rendered on the computer, it looks great, but was not designed for 3D printing. Turbii's design was made for 28mm motors available from hobbyking. However, I found that these motors are quite heavy and would add a lot of weight to my gimbal. Therefore, I opted for lighter 1807-340KV motors, which are about half the size of turbiii's motors. With a total weight of only 154g with camera, controller board and cables, my design seems very light compared to commercial metal gimbals available on Ebay or hobbyking. Changes Made The STL files could not be imported directly into sketchup or solidworks. The "repair-on-open" function broke many faces in both programs. I used Openscad instead and was able to export the finished file as an STL. This process worked fine for me. I made a number of modifications to both holders, including extending the Y-axis holder arm a few mm and changing the diameter from 28mm to 22mm on both motors. The vibration dampener had large holes in it that I was able to fix by reducing their size. I also replaced some flexible arms with stronger material. Tools Needed - small cutter knife - M2.5 screws with nuts and washers (for motor mountings) - possibly M2 screws, depending on which one you have available Printing Material The frame requires ABS for all parts except the X-shaped vibration dampener and a holder for an H frame. PLA can't handle high temperatures well. Settings Used * printer: Custom Prusa i3 * Resolution : 0.2mm * infill density : 25% You'll need to follow the settings shown here because some areas may become quite soft with high temperature when you add these details to the STL file so please be very careful
