My mom, a seasoned designer for DuPont Pioneer's labs, admired my initial tabletop but suggested I slim it down. Then came the trefoil knot table design; she wanted just three sturdy supports and details on manufacturing methods. On top of that, she asked for a wood finish render, which presented me with grain-mapping difficulties thanks to my modeling approach. You see how moms can be! This one is actually inspired by my first tabletop but with some clever adjustments. It features a thinner möbius shape and a base comprising six repeating parts.
