UPDATE 23-JAN-2016: Two more options for camera fixation are now available: attaching via an M3 screw or pin rod. Several dimensional adjustments have been made to improve design (battery LED placement, chamfer addition, and increased fins). A mounting bracket has also been added to support the Mobius action cam, featuring parameters that allow for flexible adjustment of dimensions. This design was inspired by my previous work on the Keycam 808 holder (#768611), with modifications made to accommodate the MOBIUS camera and V3 lens type with C lens configuration. For those interested in using other lens types (V1 or V2), users are encouraged to add their own custom parameters to the source code, enabling versatility and adaptation for a broader range of possibilities. To maximize design potential, this project incorporates the OpenScad scripting language, making available a multitude of design parameters that can be adjusted to suit individual needs. A removable support structure has been implemented inside the USB and SD slots; printing without additional supports yields excellent results in PLA materials. On Eachine 250 racers, replacement of the original carbon plate with this MOBIUS holder proves effective. The camera can be secured using the USB plug for power, but a rubber band serves as an alternative fixation option within the housing.
