This, I believe, represents a significantly improved design compared to my initial proposal. It offers the same level of sturdiness, albeit in a more compact package, and consists of only three components to assemble - making it notably lighter as well. Additionally, this mount can be configured for easy installation on an aircraft's top, bottom, or horizontal surfaces. For reliability purposes, using metal gear servos would be highly recommended. In my own build, I opted for a HiTec HS81 and a Turnigy 620DMG+HS - components that happened to be readily available in my workshop at the time. Two distinct base-plate options are provided within this design. With the larger base-plate paired with metal-gear servos, the overall weight of this mount comes in at an impressive 119g (excluding camera).
