Mobius 2 Axis Pan & Tilt Brushless Gimbal
thingiverse
Using concepts and pieces from my 3-axis gimbal, I reconfigured the parts to create a 2-axis Mobius gimbal that works on Pan (yaw) and Tilt (pitch). To do this, I'm using the same (15mm) RCTimer gimbal motor with a hollow shaft to simplify wire routing. The hollow shaft makes routing easy without hindering motion freedom. Ultra-flexible silicone wires can be fitted through the shaft opening in sets of three. After several design iterations, I printed different versions to optimize balance and clearances. It balances perfectly without added counterweight as long as you have a "C" lens and an Align PU Gel pad in place.
