Mobilete was a scooter brand that existed in Brazil during the late 20th century before being acquired by Caloi. Along with Garelli and others produced by bicycle factories like Caloi and Monark, these scooters had an engine power of up to 49.9 cubic centimeters to avoid the need for a driver's license and vehicle registration under Brazilian traffic legislation. The scooter featured a two-stroke engine, an automatic transmission system using cone pulley belts similar to CVT, a kick start system, fueled by gasoline mixed with 3% of 2-stroke oil for lubrication, housed in a tank with a capacity of three liters.
