I aimed to merge a temperature and humidity sensor into an existing smart home setup, keeping it as compact and portable as possible initially. The design wasn't a top priority at this stage. The outcome was a small enclosure that accommodated at least 4 components: - Wemos D1 mini - DHT22 sensor - Battery shield for WEMOS D1 mini - AA Size Power Battery Storage Case (modified to fit the battery) - GTF 18650 3.7V Battery - wires To enable deep sleep functionality, it was essential that the reset pin was connected to D0. The front panel was attached securely to the base. A sketch for flashing the Wemos D1 mini is included.
