I wanted to integrate a temperature and humidity sensor into an existing smart home environment. This should be as small and mobile as possible. The design shouldn't play a big role at first. The result is a small box in which at least 4 components fit: Wemos D1 mini Battery shield for WEMOS D1 mini AA Size Power Battery Storage Case (modified to fit the battery) GTF 18650 3.7V wires For deep sleep to work, the reset pin must be connected to D0. The sketch for flashing the wemos D1 mini is attached.
