Another student designed a mobile stand with a hole for charging cable installation. The original SketchUp file is in centimeters, but it was intended for millimeter measurements, requiring scaling down to 10% for printing purposes. We printed the design using a wood filament made from coconut nuts. Printing settings included a nozzle diameter of 0.8mm and consistent layer heights of 0.3mm across the entire model. Upon examining the print, we noticed small holes present throughout. To address this issue, further work was done on the object file to minimize these imperfections, potentially resulting in a successful print without noticeable holes. However, no guarantees can be made regarding print quality.
