Mobile Phone Stand
thingiverse
Based on the 3D phone stand design by Sergio Azzini, build in 3 parts with FreeCAD. The base is printed with dark brown wood filament (PLA), top and connector in bone white color PLA, using Ender 3 v2. The top part should be tilted to sit flat on the build plate. Cura has an option for that called "lay flat". I initially printed this part with supports but had problems removing them. Print Settings: - Printhead temperature: 200 degC - Bed temperature: 60 degC - Resolution: 0.2mm (nozzle: 0.4mm) - No supports - Top piece tilted in Cura to be flat (to avoid supports) - Infill: 20% The slot to place the mobile phone came out at 10.8mm width, which works for iPhone XR with silicon case. The connector axle might require some sand paper work to fit into the base and top holes. It should be a tight fit. I added rubber feet on the bottom to avoid sliding across the table, as well as on the bottom of the top piece, to maintain the gap distance between top and bottom.
