Mobile phone holder desk stand
thingiverse
This is a base for attaching Lenovo Moto G5 Plus Wall Holder (https://www.thingiverse.com/thing:2514831), making it look significantly better than my previous phone stand used at work. The holder keeps the phone at 60 degrees, but you can adjust the angle to fit your preferences. The uprights should slide into place on top of the mount. To assemble this project, you'll need a couple of M3 10mm screws. Pre-threading the holes will make mounting much easier. I've added a micro-SD cable for charging my phone and made it easy to lift out by removing the small tabs that normally prevent it from falling out. The stand itself is not heavy enough to support one-handed pickup of the phone, so I've glued it to a stone base. Any metal with a similar size to the base plate will work. Not shown in these photos: the holder itself. My phone has no case, so a strip of leather has been glued to the back of the holder for smooth entry and exit. Additionally, a gap has been dremelled out for the headphone socket.
