I'm obsessed with wireless charging, and when I upgraded to the Pixel XL, I had to find a way to add it without sacrificing access to my trusty USB connector - enter the Mophie Battery Case! This mobile mount is genius, and the bolt hole pattern on its back is a standard NEMA design. I've been using 1" RAM Mount balls in all of my vehicles, and now I'm printing one for my headboard to keep my phone charged and within arm's reach as I drift off to sleep! The SolidWorks files are included, so feel free to build upon this design - I'd love to see what improvements you can make or how you'll adapt it to fit other phone models.
