Mobile Frame Zero: Shinonome SN-4「星雲」(Seiun)
thingiverse
While Shinonome's latest design seemed promising at first glance, its bulk proved to be overwhelming in practice. The flight system was woefully unprepared for extended missions and the tracking guns were severely underpowered. Worst of all, enemies tended to target rockets being reloaded into the chest launcher, resulting in a catastrophic explosion that spelled certain doom for the pilot. It became clear that Shinonome Frame Corporation had rushed the development process of the SN-3 frame, and to rectify their mistake, they drew inspiration from their past successes: the legendary SN-0. Starting anew with a larger skeletal design similar to the SN-3's, Shinonome's R&D sector made significant improvements to the flight system and massive electromagnetic sniper rifle. In place of the SN-0's sword are two forearm-mounted daggers for swift and deadly strikes on unarmored joints. The SN-4 is now equipped with space travel capabilities; its hips contain oxygen tanks for the calf thrusters, while the hip, heel, and wing thrusters remain reserved for use within an atmospheric environment. On its shoulders are four rocket launchers. The new SN-GR II is distinct in that its barrel folds into segments when stowed on the frame's back. With its upgrades, refinements, and throwbacks, the SN-0's successor stands as the current champion of Shinonome Frame Corporation's lineup. TIPS: -Waist rotation requires minimal effort, a welcome change from the SN-0 and SN-1H's waist design. -Occasionally, the rifle may begin to loosen its grip when held. To rectify this issue, simply squeeze the rifle and hand together.
