The MX-2H, the latest addition to Akatsuki Industries' impressive lineup, is dubbed the "Thunderbolt" due to its formidable mass and devastating firepower. Despite being restricted to solid ground in terms of mobility, the MX-2H makes up for it with a robust, multi-layered titanium-based armor plating that provides unparalleled protection. Like its predecessor, its joints are powered by a combination of advanced servos and hydraulic units, optimized for brute force rather than speed and agility. On the back of the MX-2H are two large pods housing an array of high-capacity batteries. These batteries require replacement approximately every 7000 hours due to the immense stress they endure. Mounted onto the battery pods are dual missile launchers, and antennae that rotate to avoid obstructing the missiles. When deployed, it often wields two belt-fed 6-barrel rotary cannons that can be modified to fire shells containing depleted uranium shot, armor-piercing flechettes, and other unconventional ammunition types. Despite the MX-2H being a large and prominent target on the battlefield, it neutralizes threats easily with a tungsten battle hammer, forearm-mounted howitzers, and of course, its rotary cannons. Some pilots take advantage of the MX-2H, executing opponents by throwing its hammer, and using its howitzers at point-blank range when punching. If needed, its bulky battery pods can be swapped for a compact one-time-use power cell located towards the rear of the hips (at the expense of some armor).
