Mobile crank handle

Mobile crank handle

It's summertime in Norway, so I decided to fix my balcony shutter's crank handle. The replacement consists of a handle (printed twice) and a "clip" (printed once). Slip the clip around the shaft; it should rotate but not move vertically. To install, heat the clip in hot water (~100 degC) for a minute. Secure the parts together with neoprene glue - other types may work too. The clip will hold the handle in place. Here's to a sunny Norwegian summer! Printing instructions: Using PLA on a Replicator 2, print at 0.30mm layers with 15% infill. Printing time is approximately 1 hour and 20 minutes.
