A project from Wood Magazine's Issue 229 in November 2014 features a construction model that is part of a set of four I have already completed: a wooden bulldozer toy with side-dump trailer, backhoe loader wooden toy, and a wooden toy modeled using Solidworks 2016. The project was rendered with Simlab Composer 6 Mechanical Edition, frames edited in Virtualdub, saved as AVI/X264 and BMP format, video remuxed to MP4 with MyMP4BoxGui, and gifs made using PhotoScape. IrfanView was used to edit renders. The model is available in various formats including 3D-PDF, ZIM, SIMLAB, DAE, STEP, IGES, Parasolid, OBJ, SketchUp, 3DS, and Simlab Composer 6. The ZIM file can be viewed on iOS and Android devices using the free Simlab Viewer app.
