Mobile Crane (impression)

Mobile Crane (impression)

My neighbor is a crane operator, so for his birthday, I've designed a simple mobile crane impression, hoping my operating skills are better than his perception of my design abilities! Follow my blog at 3daybreaker.blogspot.com to see updates on this work in progress (w.i.p.) model. Please like before collecting! Be cautious while printing filament as using 1.75mm for axes doesn't work well. I have uploaded an axis file with three complete and half-made axes for your preference. The cabin is designed to hang a Dutch concrete dispenser, also known as 'Kubel'. You can choose between full or half-width cabins. However, do not print the 'total' downloads; they are just for documentation purposes. Print six wheel components (or seven if you want a spare), and be careful while handling them with a hobby knife. Assemble the parts using filament, glue specific segments together, and remember not to glue arm segments. No stop is inside the segments, so be cautious. The Kubel has to be fixed to the boom using wire or filament. Follow these instructions carefully for a successful print!
