Mobile Blade - Rawlings Synthetic Modification
thingiverse
This is a modification package for the Rawlings Synthetic Longsword Waster, used for HEMA (Historical European Martial Arts) practice. The purpose of this modification is to create an ultra portable tool that simulates full-size sword use in solo practice. Print Settings Rafts: Yes Supports: Yes Resolution: .2mm Infill: 20% minimum Some pieces require supports to print correctly; I highly suggest using rafts to prevent warping, especially with longer pieces. Post-Printing Instructions Ensure you print two weight sections and one grip section. Required Supplies You'll need: 1 x M8 1.25 threaded rod (one meter can be cut into smaller sizes using a hacksaw) 5 x M8 1.25 nuts 4 x M8 1.25 bolts (40mm length) 8 x M8 washers 2 x Metal plates as counter weights, you'll need two inch wide x .25 inch thick steel bars which have holes drilled in them.
