cgstudio
This is a model of the New Bus for London, originally created with 3ds Max 2012. Specifications include 49 separate objects and 317,114 polygons with MeshSmooth turned on to one iteration. The product also includes versions of V-Ray and mental ray for 3ds Max 2012, available as separate downloads. Geometry statistics reveal a nearly perfect ratio of 4-sided polygons to triangles, with only 0.3% triangles and no Ngons. Thumbnails display the scene's totals: 54 objects, 51 shapes, 1 camera, 1 light, and 1 helper. The model contains 440,887 vertices and 434,964 faces. Textures include a 512x512 bump tile and a 9,192 x 3,048 billboard. Details reveal that the model is built to real-world scale, using meters as its unit of measurement. It measures 416 cm in length, with objects organized by layers and groups. Additional notes caution that textures and materials are not applied to .3ds file formats, which will not render like preview images. Other file formats exported from 3ds Max contain base mesh only, without smoothing. The model is based on Google photos and manufacturer blueprints.
