Moai with round magnets

This was my maiden voyage with OpenSCAD. Rendering is mind-numbingly slow.\nI had a bunch of round magnets I wanted to utilize. So I utilized an OpenSCAD file and modified the source code to fit either 13mm or 9.5mm magnets.\nThe one using 13mm magnets is 103mm tall, while the 9.5mm version stands at 77mm. I found it more efficient to create separate items for better positioning of the magnets. That way, I could also avoid scaling issues with the vertical height of the magnet compartments.\nIf you want a smaller Moai, you'd likely need to edit the SCAD file and adjust the placement of the cylinders. A small Moai featuring two 9.5mm magnets might just work.\nDepending on your printer's tolerances, you may want to tweak the sizes of the cylinders. On my Monoprice Mini, these fit incredibly tightly. In fact, I found it useful to shave the cylinders slightly for a better fit. Your mileage may vary, of course. You could always print one up to the point where it draws a few layers of the circles and then check how well your magnets fit.\nAlso be aware that adhesives on the backs of most magnets are subpar. Be prepared to apply some epoxy later... This might be an additional reason to make the holes slightly deeper, to accommodate the glue.
